What are the best sports for petite women?

I am 5’3 and small, and have yet to find a sport or activity where my size would be an advantage.

I’ve tried tennis,swimming, and running but those all favor taller people. Are there any Sports I might be better suited to?

Go big in badminton for serious. or maybe…. bocce ball. Any type of lawn game suits shrimps. Maybe just stick to reading Harry Potter and eating goat cheese.

where to volunteer for a social work major in college?

I am interested in volunteering as it is a prereq in my program. However I want to volunteer somewhere specifically in social wok long term to gain work experiance before I finish my degree. I’m specifically interested in medical social work or social work involved with children.

Your best bet would be outside of the actual medical context (unless the hospital has opportunities to actually volunteer on a pediatric unit – most hospitals don’t give volunteers much to do). Programs like Ronald McDonald House or other pediatric programs for youth dealing with long-term illness or even disability (there are often camps and related programs). Youth programs in General are great to volunteer with (Big brother/sister – boys and girls clubs, etc.) Always need volunteers.

What is a good science fair project for environmental engineering?

Science fair projects are meant to solve problems, not to show how something works. I’d like to do a science fair project in the category of engineering using my LEGO Mindstorms robotics kit. The judges at the Science fair especially like environmental projects, so I want to do an environmental engineering project. An example would be "What alternative energy source is the most efficient: water, wind, or geothermal?" Something like that would be good. If you have any ideas, I would greatly appreciate to see them.

Put a solar panel on the robot. Use the controller for the robot to make it move around using the suns energy. Say this should be the use of energy for cars, making them run by electricity. If they ask about nighttime, give the example of a glow-in-the-dark magnet. It gathers the energy it needs during the day. uses it at night. Also use the example about the terrible oil spill in the gulf of mexico thats going on right now. Say that would be abolished if we were to use an alternative energy source for our cars and machines, aka the suns energy.Don’t know much about enviormental engineering, but I think this falls into that catagory. Not very original but good examples for it are here.

I’m looking to apply for a job at a store, but on the website, there are two different applications.

Most chain stores that have locations in many states have a main office that does the accounting, buys the stuff that all the stores sell, produces the payroll checks, and other things. The corporate office may not be located in your town. If you want to work for the main office, choose Corporate Office. If you want to work at one of the stores, choose Retail Location.

How many pets do people most people have?

I know its a completely random question, but Im just curious. Im a huge animal lover, and Ive had large numbers of pets before, but right now I just have my kitten. But i wanted to know how many pets other people had, and what kinds.

well i have always had 2 dogs. no matter what
we have had the ones that we have now for 11 years now
I have a beagle mix who is sweet as can be named Lacey
i also have a chocolate lab named Quincey =)
i use to have a ton of barn cats,
but now its down to one . A black gray and orange devil named Zoie

i live on a farm as well and show livestock all summer
so i concider all of my sheep and pigs to be my Pets as well

in 2009 i had 7 sheep named (Kylie, Lucy, Operah, Alpha, Rehab, Jillian, and ANDREW)
i had hamps, natural colors, sufolks, and an amazing oxford
we won many shows accross indiana and i love them all to death . heck they even get to live in air conditioning for crying out loud haha. they are my babies

my pigs =) are my world ( and no they do not live in mudd, outside and they are not fat)
i sleep with them in the pen and play with them and feed them marshmellows and they love drinking pop out if cans ..
in 2009 their names were ( muzzle loader, gunner, brandi, anna, sweat pea, shimmer, BILLY, blackmail, sky, bruiser, nelly, sammy and many more that i am too lazy to write)

My Internet and cable was shut off and i need the internet but the only unsecured network barely gets any reception. How can i use someone elses secured wireless Internet?
