I didn’t know what it was at first I thought it was just "shyness" and that I would grow out of it well I developed social anxiety. I consider it a extreme case because it causes skip classes (college) to avoid during presentation and other "social activities". I was actually suppose to graduate already but I’m still in school because this issue. My major is social work irronically and I don’t want to change it because I really want to help people but it would be impossible to do with the level of anxiety I feel in social settings.
Besides engaging in therapy and/or taking medication it is also important to focus on self-esteem issues as they can be related to social anxiety issues. The SSA sends taxpayers annual statements until they become eligible for Medicare. I don’t plan to apply for my Social Security benefits until I’m 70 (and get a higher benefit) and I’d love to continue getting annual statements of my increased estimated SSA benefits. How can I get the SSA to continue to send such annual statements?

I am doing a project for history and our job is to take pictures of some social ills that can be found in society today. Such things as graffiti, pornography, etc. Except, every one in my class is using the same topics and I want to be unique. And I need to make sure I can go out and take pictures of what ever social ill I have chosen with out it being posed (must be natural, I can’t set up the scene). Any suggestions?

I’ll be done with my BA in psychology in May and plan on going to graduate school but not sure if I want to go into social work and get my MSW or study school counseling and get an MA in school counseling. Which one is better to obtain if I plan on becoming an admissions/academic counselor in the college setting?
You can get a master’s in higher Education administration/educational administration. There are plenty of programs out there. Those are the best programs for someone who wants to work in a college setting.

You have to get a firewall program and block the websites. Try Zone Alarm it is easiest one I can think of to setup.
If some foreign national has worked for more than 17 years, she’s now 58, in usa. She paid social security tax, can she get it back? She would never use any of social security benefits. Coz’ she is going back to her country next couple of month.

If she has paid in to Social Security for that long, she will be eligible to collect it when she reaches retirement age.
The fact that she is moving back to her home country is irrelevant as she has enough paid in quarters to qualify for benefits.
Alternatively there may be a tax treaty between her country and the US that would give her equivalent credit for whatever national retirement plan is offered in her country. In that case she would Generally qualify for that based upon the US taxable wages earned.
